The Bible Study Library offers a wide variety of Bible translations, ranging from full Bibles, Old Testament-only translations and New Testament-only translations. Each of these materials may be downloaded individually from the online library, or as part of the Library’s full archive download.
The Revised Version Improved and Corrected, AD 2000, or RVIC, is the result of years of study and compilation of the most accurate translations of both the Old and New Testaments available. The RVIC translation of the Bible contains many in-line references regarding the various manuscripts from which the translations were generated.
The King James version of the Bible is one of the most widely known and used translations. The Library includes a digital version of the King James translation of the Bible that can be easily searched, bookmarked, and notated.
The Library offers a digital version of the American Standard Bible. “Containing the Old and New Testaments translated out of the original tongues being the version set forth A.D. 1611 compared with the most ancient authorities and revised A.D. 1881-1885”
Wilson’s Diaglott offers a unique experience in Bible Study. The New Testament is laid out in source Greek wording, with English translations of each word or phrase underneath the Greek. The Diaglott then offers a verse by verse wording of the translations. For those seeking a perspective on the New Testament scriptures, the Diaglott can prove an invaluable resource.
Reading the Bible can be a daunting, but rewarding prospect. The Library includes a daily schedule to help break down Bible readings into smaller manageable and enjoyable daily assignments.
