God’s plan for mankind is more wonderful, comprehensive and joyous than ever imagined! The six volume series “Studies in the Scriptures” examines the whole of the Bible’s testimony, from the opening book recording mankind’s creation to the glorious Kingdom of God that is, even now, beginning to dawn! From the first volume, “The Divine Plan of the Ages” which lays out God’s plan for mankind in an easy-to-understand outline, through the sixth and final volume, “The New Creation”, each volume provides a scholarly and comprehensive study of various important Biblical topics, such as Biblical chronology, Armageddon, atonement and God’s glorious kingdom. Although written at the turn of the 20th century, the scriptural truths outlined within are just as relevant today, if not more so, than when they were first written.

The Bible records how, centuries ago, God gave the nation of Israel a series of comprehensive and precise instructions for an extremely special construction named the Tabernacle. As might be expected of instructions from God, the Tabernacle and its details and measurements provide a great deal of insight into God’s plan for mankind. In this volume, these details, of the tabernacle, the Levitical priesthood, and the laws and sacrifices specified by God to ancient Israel, are examined. Each of these details is then examined further to draw attention to their relevance to God’s plan for mankind.

From 1879 until his death in 1916, Pastor Russell oversaw the publication of a periodical entitled “The Watchtower and Herald of Christ’s Presence”, or more simply, “The Watchtower”. He also wrote and contributed to the majority of articles published in “The Watchtower” during these years. The archives of this publication, which has come to be known over the years as “The Reprints”, continue to be a source of blessing for all who seek to review the scriptures and understand their declaration of God’s glorious plan for mankind better.

When first published, the “Photo-Drama of the Creation” was presented to the public as part of what would today be called a series of multi-media events. Today, the work is still available in print, and the truths it espouses are just as rich and as relevant as ever. This richly illustrated volume begins an examination of God’s plan for mankind with the creation of the very universe; weaves through Old Testament events and history; through the arrival and ministry of the long-foretold Messiah, his ministry and sacrifice; the history of the Christian church; and ends with examinations of Biblical prophecies that are unfolding today before our very eyes.

Widely regarded as Pastor Russell’s first published work, “The Object and Manner of Our Lord’s Return” examines the scriptural prophecies regarding Jesus’ second coming. The publication lays out scriptural evidence and logical reasoning that pinpoints Jesus’ return to a specific year, and further examines the purpose of his return, and why the world, in general, remains unaware of this return.
